A man has been granted bail after he was charged over the alleged sexual assault of a woman on a Sydney Harbour cruise boat.
The woman was allegedly assaulted at a Christmas party on a privately chartered cruise boat on December 22.
Officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command were notified when the boat docked at the Finger Wharf at Woolloomooloo, before detectives from the Marine Area Command began investigations.
A crime scene was established on board the boat.
A 35-year-old Cronulla man was arrested at Kings Cross Police Station about 7.45am Thursday and was charged with sexual intercourse without consent.
He appeared at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday and granted strict conditional bail.
The man will face Downing Centre Local Court on March 10.
