Director Basil Joseph opens up on Minnal Murali’s sequel

Minnal Murali’s director Basil Joseph, in an interview, spilled beans over the possibility of the movie turning into a franchise. Minnal Murali is a recent Malayalam superhero movie, which was widely acclaimed by the audience. Talking about the possibility of the movie’s sequel and it becoming a franchise, Joseph said, “There are strong reasons to believe Minnal Murali can become a franchise. Discussions are happening but nothing has been confirmed yet to make an official announcement.”

Last week, producer Sophia Paul also spoke about the sequel plans in an interview with a leading news portal. She said, “It’s too early to talk about what lies ahead, but yes, we will soon announce the sequel, a bigger extravaganza. As I said, I can’t talk about what we have in mind, but it’s going to be a hell of a ride.”
