A pastel pink mansion up for sale in Ireland hides an unusual secret inside.
Dyann House, in Donadea, Co. Kildare, may be pretty in pink on the outside but the interior doesn’t fully match this bubblegum aesthetic.
The six-bedroom property – which is on the market for nearly £2million – hides an eccentric Victorian twist inside, with lace curtains, pinstripe wallpaper and turn of the century furniture.
However, not all of the rooms boast this Victorian decor – some have more modern touches, too.
Stretching 7,104 square feet in total, the main house is set over three floors including a self-contained annexe.
Downstairs, the south-facing sun room can also be accessed from the hall and offers stunning views of the quaint country garden, alongside the maximalist living room.
This then leads onto the spacious kitchen, which features a Belfast sink and Aga in pink and green shades.
On the first level, there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a triple-aspect master bedroom with a fireplace, walk-in-wardrobe and a roomy en-suite shower room.
While on the second floor are two additional bedrooms – with one boasting a balcony, a sitting room and a bathroom.
In addition to the house there are also two self-contained, semi-detached apartments, a single apartment and the huge equestrian estate – including two stable yards with 18 stables and tack rooms.
There’s also a barn, pavilion, gazebo, car port and tennis court on the grounds.
It’s worth pointing out that it’s unclear whether the house comes furnished will all this quirky decor.
But there’s no denying a pink house certainly has a lot of kerb appeal, or – considering it’s a countryside estate – should we say ‘field appeal.’
