Realme’s 240W fast charger surfaces online

Faster charging speed is one feature where almost every other brand is going big. Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition with 210W fast charging support, while both OnePlus and Oppo have also showcased their 150W fast charging technology. Now, Realme is reportedly planning to bring 240W fast charging support on its upcoming Realme GT Neo 5.
Ice Universe has now revealed a couple of new photos of the charging brick that will supposedly accompany the Realme GT Neo 5 on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The tipster has also revealed a couple of details about the upcoming fast charger from Realme.
According to the report, the 240W charger will be the first of its kind to be mass-produced. It carries the model number VCKCJACH and it will also support different charging standards including 65 PD charging.
It is important to note that this is not the first time that the information about Realme’s 240W charger has surfaced online. Previous leaks and rumours have already suggested that the new 240W fast charging will come with Realme GT Neo 5 and that puts new Ice Universes’s leaked details in line with the previous report.
Realme GT Neo 3: Leaked specifications
Talking about Realme GT Neo 5, the smartphone is expected to succeed the Realme GT Neo 3 and the smartphone, as per the reports, will feature a new dual-tone design back panel. The camera housing will feature a Black colour treatment while the rest of the phone will be White. We also expect Realme to offer the smartphone in more colour options.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is slated to feature a 6.7-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. Apart from that, the handset is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and it will be backed by a 5000mAh battery.
