Rihanna’s new Savage X Fenty bare-bum PJs have some people confused

Savage X Fenty, Rihanna’s lingerie brand, is known for its sexy and inclusive night and sleepwear styles.

What’s not sexy, however, are PJ bottoms with a cut-out on the bum.

The icon herself modelled them recently – demonstrating just how large that cut-out is – only to receive a mixed bag of reactions.

While Rihanna can look good in just about anything, people aren’t convinced by this recent drop on the lingerie site.

The tartan bottoms have a tie-up at the back with space on the backside to allow the wearer’s bum to… breathe.

While they look regular from the front, the back has amused people across social media.

One fan wrote: ‘No offence to Rihanna who has never once missed before, but this is insane.’

Another replied: ‘The only situation I can think of that would call for these pajamas is trynna seduce someone with a rip can winkle fetish.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Honestly???? lemme go cop these and have my ass out on Christmas morning’.

Many have seen the funny side, with one person adding: ‘I laughed out loud when I saw these.’

Some people are genuinely fans of the strange style, with one saying they ‘want those ass-less pjs’.

Full price, they cost $49.95 but can be bought for $13.98 if you’re a member on the site (which ships to the UK too).

Just imagine getting out of bed on a cold winter’s night for water while wearing these… we’ll pass.
